Being from St. Louis, we feel we have an excuse to order a Bud whenever we’re at a loss for some clever cocktail or fancy brew. If anyone looks down at us, we say, “We’re from St. Louis…” and it’s enough said.
So imagine our dismay at the news that Anheuser-Busch will be sold to a European company.
It’s terrible for St. Louis, and to us, it will make the beer taste less great.
Just when we discovered the goodness of Bud Lime, too…
